In 2009, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse celebrated its centennial. Nestled in the bluffs of the Mississippi River, the campus has an intimate charm that’s been appreciated by generations of students, faculty, staff and alumni. For their celebratory logo, it seemed fitting to depict the campus landmark — a stately, walk-through clocktower— against those ancient hills.
